Amazing fresh food and excellent customer experience. Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and all the fixings were excellent. The icing on the cake was the delicious Home-made bread pudding which made me happier than a kid in a candy store!
The best buffet in NW Florida! Not just Okaloosa county. They have a delicious variety of fresh, homemade country vegetables and it changes every day. Higly recommend and it is reasonably priced.
This is a down home Southern Country Buffet with a good amount of choices to enjoy. Table service is very good .. tables are promptly cleaned, did not have to ask for soda refill, and I enjoyed the salad bar, hot food bar (fried Chicken spot on), and the small Dessert Bar (the Bread Pudding was delicious and highlight here). All for a very reasonable price. This place is pretty popular overall during the lunchtime.
Fantastic southern buffet. Plenty of options all full of flavor. The best country style buffet I have tried. The staff were friendly and polite. The food is actually seasoned and has flavor. The price is fair. Makes a great lunch spot. You can easily eat enough to ruin yourself for the day with how good it is.
If you're in the mood for good Ole home cookin then is is your place. If you leave here hungry that is your fault. There isn't one item on the bar that isn't delicious. Let's not forget the dessert bar! The staff here are so friendly it almost makes it feel like your part of the family. So bring your appetite and come enjoy yourself.
I've driven down Main Street for years and didn't know Desi's was there till today when a group of people came out at once while I drove by. Desi's closes after lunch and open for dinner on Fridays only. I didn't want to cook dinner after an hour drive home, so I at dinner at Desi's. The crowd I could tell were all locals, friendly calling out each other by name. Line up and get your plates served with the country style meats and vegetables. Fish Friday, there was breaded fried mullet and catfish. Not a fried fish eater, so I enjoyed double servings of the ribs, and shrimp pasta (not those mini shrimp, but the good size ones you can sink your teeth into. Selection of vegetables can satisfy the pickiest eater. The desert bar was too tempting, so I did enjoy the apple crisps. Enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and saw the American flag proudly displayed. Next to it is the Israeli flag. Thank you, that meant much to me. Not too far North of 1-10 for those traveling and want a break from the chain restaurants. This is Southern cooking.
I'm giving this place 5 stars because it's a good place for good food for a fair price. Don't come here and expect a blow your mind experience. Nothing here "wow'd" me. But the people are friendly. The food was fresh and the dessert bar was on point! Go check it out.
Its a buffet, not cooked to order. With that said its one of the better quality food buffets I've been to. Not as many options as most but again, better cooked food than most.
All you can eat Buffet in a small town. Its great if you're passing through. I went on a Tuesday which the menu wasn't a whole lot. Fried chicken was delicious 😋 I had tomatoes and rice * collard greens wasn't cooked very well nor seasoned. But eatable. The cornbread was fried and it wasn't done throughly kinda tasted like more dough. They had Lasagna not sure how it tasted because it looked to have a bunch of tomatoe Sauce & cheese. But I would like to go back on a Friday and Saturday with a large variety of food. Its very clean & spacious.
Food was hot and delicious. Wonderful local place.
